Alittle stash and some finishing

This was in my mailbox today. These are some of Just Nan's new Halloween designs. They are all wonderfully small designs. The 2 pins are awesome.
Cheryl and I did a little finishing today. I got afew things done before the iron attacked my arm, leaving a large burn on my forearm. This is LK's new Quick It design. I used 32 ct ant. ivory linen with the suggested floss. We made it into a pillow. I think it turned out really nice.

A cute little pinkeep. I have another two that I will do tomorrow. I also have 2 little Halloween ornies that I have to stuff and make cording for. I will post them in afew days (depending on Earl ).

This is the close up of the frame that is on October by PS.

I picked this up from the framer on Wednesday. I am really pleased in how it turned out. The frame is lighter than this picture shows. It's not October yet but it's already hanging up.

I want to thank everyone for the comments on my last post. I love the fact that you all take the time to read and to comment. It means alot.

I want everyone on the east coast to stay safe during the storm. As of tonight, we are supposed to get heavy rains and up to 60 mile per hour winds. I've taken in the patio furniture and anything that could blow away. It should be over by Saturday. I am going to hunker down and hopefully finish the finishing and do some more stitching . Stay safe and Happy Stitching.

I love the Thanksgiving pillow. You and Cheryl always do a great job. Can't wait to see the ornies. Maybe we should do cording at our next stitching group that way we both could get the job done quicker.

Wow!!!!! You are really finishing things quickly. I love the pinkeep. I also love the pillow. I have wanted to do that for holiday designs so that I can keep changing the look of the pillows. Wonderful! The frame for your PS piece is great. With all your finishes, you need more stash! I on the other hand have been going through stash thinking 'Oh yeah, I wanted to do that and bought that and why did I buy that one...' Lol!

I need to look up your email address and will do that on Sunday but wanted to say a huge thank you for the chart, thread and fabulous stocking!!! I love it and it will become a part of my Christmas tree this year for my first Christmas in our new home. Thank you so much!

Have a great weekend!

Hugs from Holland ~
Heidi

Oh, swoon for Hallowe'en stash! :D "October" looks terrific, and I love that pinkeep! I think I need to make one of those guys soon. ;) I have a design for it almost all stitched up.

Can't wait to see some move of those Hallowe'en finishes--hope your arm heals up lickety-split.

There's just something about fall stitching, isn't there?! Fall is my favorite season with
the changing colors, cooler temps, and sweater
weather.
I have been watching the Weather Channel and keeping up with Earl. Stay safe!
Thinking of you...

Hope you didn't get too much rain; that Earl was a nasty one. I love the beaded edge on the pinkeep! Hope your arm is feeling much better.

Your finishes are awesome. I love the pillow very much. I also used this kind of pillow finish several times, they just look great with the ribbons on.
Enjoy your new stash.

Reading further on your blog after the post after this...since I am a new follower - boy, nice stitching. Glad Earl is past you now! And imagine my surprise as I have read down through your past posts to see my blog listed under the ones that you read - that is still a thrill for me...I've only been blogging for about six months - wonder if that will wear off or if it will stay a thrill that people read what I write...have a great day!
