A Few Good Things

I received this beautiful scissor fob that Heidi made. She had a surprise giveaway on some of us that commented on her love of ironing. Yes, I said that she loves ironing. I thought that it looked great on these scissors.
I did this BBD design much earlier in the year. Just got around to framing it.

Alittle close up of the geese. Don't you just love them?
A close up of the frame. The pic is lousy but the frame does go well with this design.

Whipped up this little ditty, while watching Dancing with the Stars. Yes, dancing with the Stars-- what can I say. It's an Elizabeth designs from 2004. Came as a kit. I am going to make it into a little pillow with some great ribbon.

This is Clara Ellen by BBD. I'm using 28ct ant. ivory with the suggested fibers except for the avocado that they use for the house. All the other colors are muted and soft and the avocado is very bright. I haven't chosen a color yet but I will let you know what I pick.

I will be posting in a day or so because I have reached 100 followers ( thank you Edgar for being my 100th ) and that means a giveaway. I haven't put it together yet but I am thinking about 10 things. Check back.

I want to thank everyone for the wonderful comments on my last post. They mean alot. I am thrilled by the kindness of all you stitchers. Got to go put together a giveaway. Happy Stitching!

Love your BBD piece. The frame you picked out looks great too.

I enjoy Dancing with the Stars too. Mindless entertainment to watch/listen to while stitching.

I really like the picture on your blog header. It's a pretty fall arrangement.

How on earth do you stitch while DWTS is on? My eyes are glued to the show! I stitch while watching dramas, soaps, and movies.

And btw, the BBD is beautiful. Nice job!

Heidi is a sweet heart. I have won some pretty quilted Christmas coasters from her. Your finishes are lovely, as always. I love Elizabeth's Designs except when my satin stitches look puny! Congratulations on your 100th follower.
