A Day of Finishing and a Surprise

I spent part of my day doing some finishing. I will say that my talent lies with the stitching not the finishing. First, is a pinkeep. The fabric that it's laying on is what's on the back.
Another little pinkeep.

These two ornies are my favorites.

This is my WIP. I can see a finish fairly soon. The picture doesn't show how really beautiful this design is. I added 4 more colors for the leaves.

Now for the surprise! I scored two of these lovely new Gingher scissors. All the Joann Fabrics in my area are already sold out. My good fortune can also be your good fortune. I am going to give a pair away.

everything looks wonderful! Don't be so hard on yourself!! Finish/finishing is hard!!! You did great!! I love your almost finished WIP. Won't be long!!!!!!
Wow, those scissors seem to be a hit! I have seen them on lots of sites!

Good Morning Deborah!
Your finishing looks great. I think we are always more critical of our own work. I always think I could of done a better job, but then next year when I pull out those ornaments I think wow, I really like the finishing on that one.
Congratulations on scoring the scissors. I have gotten to the point that I don't even bother making the trip to JoAnn's in Greensboro, they NEVER have the scissors. And Gingher is here in town!?!

Have a great holiday!
Chris

I am with you about finishing. My talent lies in the stitching also. I have someone else do my finishing/framing now as it caused me WAY too much stress. Oh, I love those scissors! I don't own a single pair of Ginghers! Yes, I can hear the collective gasp now. Please enter me in the drawing.

I think OCT 31 is my favorite, but they are all GREAT~! The Boo Sheep ornament (with his eyemask) is too cute, and I love the finishing on it!

I'd love to be included in your giveaway! My Joann's never has them in stock, either. I looked and looked but never found a pair of the Mia from last year (they were M.I.A.! lol!) Now, the needlepoint store has them, but they are charging $39! EEp!
