Pumpkin Farm

I finished this earlier in the week. It's Sarah Street by LHN. I used 32 ct. vintage butter cream linen with CC fibers. The picture does not do the fabric any justice. It's a very soft yellow. I just love the colors, alot of different pinks and the linen is one of my new fav's. Those little bunnies are so cute. You can click on any of the pictures to get a better view.
I finished this piece this morning. It's Pumpkin Farm by BBD. I think that this one is one of the best designs in the AotH series. I used 28ct exampler linen with the suggested fibers. I dedicated it to my husband who died in 2004. I picked this one for him because we were married in October. It was perfect. It will go in my pop in and out frame that I am using for the series.
Started this one this afternoon. It is May by PS. I am trying to do all of the series. They are fun fast pieces to do. I won't get alot more stitching in this week end. Went out to dinner with friends tonight for Mexican food and tomorrow we have been invited to friends for a turkey dinner. I love turkey and I also think that any meal that I don't cook is a great meal. With that said, I love cooking but it is nice to have someone else cook occasionally.
Cheryl is in Canada visiting her Mom, who has cancer and is in the hospital. She is doing better but still has a long road ahead of her. I know that they would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
Thanks for all the comments! I love them. Until next time....Happy Stitching! Deborah

Hi Deborah,
I agree about Pumpkin Farm. It is one of the best in the series. The chart is on my wish list. I will probably place an order after I see all the market releases.
Have fun with your friends and a great Sunday!

Pumpkin Farm is my favorite of the series too in terms of design. The dedication to your husband makes it even more special.

I love home cooked meals but not as keen on cooking myself these days due to the rush after work is over to get things done. I much more enjoy it those times that I don't have to rush.

Absolutely beautiful finishes! I love how you've personalized Pumpkin Farm in memory of your DH. I'm also seeing a lot of stitchers using the buttercream linen which I think I'd like to try. It works so well with many of the samplers.
I will keep Cheryl and her mom in my prayers and pray that things continue to go well for her.

Deb.. your Pumpkin Farm piece is just beautiful, especially the dedication to Paul. What a lovely thing to do.
Please pass along my thoughts and prayers to Cheryl for her Mom.

All of your pieces are beautiful. I like your idea of doing each of the AOH pieces separately and switching them in and out of a single frame. I did that with one Hinzeit series and I really liked the results.

Will be keeping Cheryl and her Mom in my thoughts and prayers.

Lovely finishes. They all look like such fun pieces to work on. I have a thing for those primitive style bunnies too. Can't resist a pattern that includes them!

What lovely finishes and what a great tribute to your husband. I don't think I'd seen Sara Street, but I adore the colors. I'm going to have to track this one down and put in the stash.

Beautiful finishes! What a nice way to honor your husband, too. I'm going to have to make a note about the Buttercream for the LHN design--it looks so nice together.

Cheryl and her mother are both in my prayers.
