WIP and Tusal

Still working on AaHRH! I thought that I would never finish the barn. It's progressed quickly after that. Sorry for the lousy picture. When I am done with this square I am going to move on to something different. Haven't decided just what yet.
Because I haven't done much stitching, I thought that I would show you a couple more of my flower frogs. This was my first one. It was given to me by my a dear friend, Jeanne. She bought it years ago in Baltimore and never used it. She gave it to me because she knew that I really wanted one. It's much prettier in person. It's beautiful cut glass. It remains my favorite. Little did Jeanne know what she started. You can click on any of the pictures for a better view.
, The frog on the right is one I found with Cheryl a couple of weeks ago. More cut glass with a silver base. Very pretty. The one on the left is one I found one day when Nataly and I were out shopping for anything stitchy. It's very shallow, but it holds the little scissors perfectly. The base has a floral silver border.
My TUSAL jar. You can see all the fall colors from AaHRH.

I am very close to 300 followers! I have started to put together my giveaway. I have a beautiful design from the Sampler Company with the fabric and floss, 5 other designs, some silk floss and a few other pieces of fabric. Oh, and alittle something stitched by me. check back next week and I will post the giveaway.

I want to thank everyone for visiting and leaving the best comments. I appreciate them all. Until next time....Happy Stitching! Deborah

Your barn sure looks like a lot of work but it is so pretty! I don't blame you for taking a break.

Your flower frogs are so nice. I have yet to find one for myself. Someday....

I think buildings of any kind with all that fill in seem to take forever. Your block is looking great. Love your flower frogs - I always look for them when I go thrifting.

The barn raising is finally complete! It looks great! Love your frogs and your scissors! I'm curious to know what is the most you would or have spent on a frog?

Those HRH blocks take a lot longer than you would think, don't they, Deborah? I do love this piece and broke down and asked for it for Christmas. Who knows when I'll get to it, though... Your stitching is beautiful :)

Hi Deborah! Love your AaHRH. I finally bid on a couple of HRH charts but do not hold a chance in winning them I think. I have my fingers crossed though. Also love your flower frogs. I have two but one I actually use for flowers and the second for my scissors. I bought it years ago before everyone started buying them. The prices have gone up sky high for them now. Do you ever use one for flowers? They make such pretty arrangements.

Hugs from Holland ~

Your AaHRH looks fabulous! One of my Tuesday night stitchers did this one and I know there is a lot of stitching in those blocks.
Your flower frogs are lovely! I've found a couple but I've yet to see one of cut glass or with the silver.
Your header is perfect for this month.
