Had June stretched for my pop it in and out frame.
This is a terrible picture of Betsy. We have had terrible storms today and I wasn't able to get a good shot. The fabric isn't pink like the pic shows. It is a wonderful gold color. I wanted a gold frame but frankly that was gold over kill. Went with a back frame with a row of gold beading on it.
Isn't she pretty sewing on her flag. ?!
Again, another bad pic. This is le jardin. This fabric is actually a soft pink color. The people are really cute. I will be done soon. Didn't get enough stitchy time over the holiday. Did alot of yard work and keeping the house perfect (for the viewing public) takes much time away from what I would rather be doing. Did manage to spend time with friends and have a turkey burger. Hope you all had a fun filled week end with family and had some great food.
Until next time....Happy Stitching! Deborah

Your finished pieces are looking lovely. I especially like the Betsy work. Who is it by? I think I'd like to stitch that one myself!
Ohhh! How lovely!
Oh my gosh. I spent my lunch time drooling over your picture. LOVE those framed pieces. 13 Colonies is just superb - so is the frame.
Betty is simply stunning. I so want to stitch this one too (soon as I figure out to change her dress...lol)
I think the black frame suits her so very well.
June looks great as well, so does Le Jardin. Le Jardin is another piece to drool on.
The framed pieces look gorgeous! You must be dancing the Happy Dance with them!
I like le Jardin - I've never seen this one before and I like the linen too!
Awesome frame choices!
Deborah the framing is beautiful. I find it really interesting that most framing of needlework I see from the States, do not put a matting board in to 'frame' the work even more. Can't wait till I take my next piece to a framers and ask them to leave it out. Might just get a very interesting response.
Also are they under glass or left open.
Again most beautiful work. LiBBiE in Oz
Betsy and 13 Colonies look wonderful in their frames. And so does June.
Enjoy your newly started and already almost finished WIP, lol.
Although I love your finishes and le jardin, I have to congratulate you on the choice of your frames - they would be my choice too.
What nice pieces! Love the frame you went with for Betsy.
13 Colonies is lovely! And it's great to see another 'pink' girl!!!!!!
With the new granddaughter, I am knee deep in pink!
Thank you for sharing; Mimi
Wow Deborah! Everything is so beautiful. I love your frame choice for 13 Colonies.
I hope you didn't get hit by those storms yesterday.

They all turned out AWESOME! I can't decide which I love the most. :) I really love Betsy, but then Thirteen Colonies....oh heck, I just love them all! LOL You did a great job picking out the frames to compliment your beautiful stitching. :)
What gorgeous framed finishes, even if the colors look wonky--we get the true colors you described! Le jardin is really coming along too! Thanks for sharing! Hugs.

Everythig looks wonderful! Your picture of Betsy reminded me that when I was in the 7th grade I a shadow box of her for the history fair. I guess I am a sweing junkie from way back. (that was in 1975)

I've had a lot of problems with blogger, too. I open up windows to comment and they are blank no matter how many times I refresh the page, etc. My followers are just now showing up. Very frustrating!!
