First, I need to thank everyone who commented and e-mailed me about my last post. I was so touched by all your kind words. They warmed my heart. Thank you all. This is a table runner that Cheryl and I made last year. We have made many different kinds of runners but this is my favorite. Love the colors and the design of the fabric.
I finished Give Thanks and I am so pleased with it. The company that produced the design is the Imaginating Inc. It's a 2005 design. I used 32 ct Ant. ivory linen and the called for DMC floss. I have a frame that I will use to frame it with.
This gem is the October Word Play by With thy Needle and Thread. It's bigger than you think. I will make it into a door hanger. I did purchase the rusty bells for the bottom. I used 36 ct V Buttercream by LSL. I am really going to enjoy these word plays.
This is my latest start. Rubie Owl's sampler by Plum Street Samplers. I love Paulette's designs. I am having so much fun stitching this one. The fall colors are fantastic. The material is 32 ct Days Gone By lugana. This fabric is so beautiful. The picture does not do it any justice. It has wonderful staining on it. You would never know that it is the end of September here in MA. It finally stopped raining for a few days but it was very humid and quite warm. Did get some outside work done. Made a pot of soup and watched TV and stitched today. All in all, it was a great week-end. Hope yours was good, as well. You can click on any of the pics for a larger view. Until next time....Happy stitching! Deborah

The table runner is wonderful. I do love your fall stitching. Glad you had a nice weekend and got lots of time to stitch.
That table runner is gorgeous, I love the colours on it! Very nice fall stitching, too. I can't wait to see more of the owl sampler :)
Your fall projects are all wonderful! I've been looking forward to the monthly word play pieces.
Your fall projects are all wonderful! I've been looking forward to the monthly word play pieces.
Your tablerunner is beautiful. I quilt but rarely make tablerunners. I am making some with the second series of my FW sampler as too many family members want the quilt. So I will split it all up. :-)
Love Give Thanks! That is just so pretty. Who is the designer?
Just hung my wall scones outside finally and put pumpkins on them. I am really celebrating fall. It is just the prettiest of seasons in my book.
Hugs from Holland ~

Deborah,
It is always such a treat to see a new post from you. I love all of these finishes. I love the With Thy Needle piece. I really like the font she has used.
It sounds like you had a perfect Sunday!
Love your projects. The Give Thanks one is so sweet for the holidays.
Wonderful finishes, Deborah!! You put me to shame... I always think of you and your finishes because you manage to stick to one or a few WIPs instead of skipping all over the place. I need to get control over my impulse stitching! LOL I love the Word Play--that's the first I've seen stitched up and it looks amazing! Love your Give Thanks piece, too! Days Gone By is one of my favorite linen colors--Rubie will look amazing on it. Great job on the table runner, too!
If you like soup, I recently made Pioneer Woman's Italian chicken soup. It makes a big pot, enough to feed my family of 5 with left overs, but it is amazing. My DH is a meat & potatoes type of guy and he LOVES the soup.
Have a great week!
Beautiful fall stitching. That little owl on your new start is just the cutest!
I just love your Give Thanks piece -- it's so pretty! The Autumn door hanger is so cute too! That table runner is beautiful -- so appropriate for fall! Glad you had a good weekend!

Autumn is my favourite season, too, although here in OZ we are now in Spring. I love your October word play design - I will have to check out With thy needle and thread for the design.
Give thanks looks wonderful, too.

I love all of those pieces. The runner is really cool - I was looking very closely at it to see if I could figure out how to make one. Maybe...
All three of your stitched pieces are terrific. I love the colors in Give Thanks, and I think the Word Play one is really delightful, and the Owl one is going to be gorgeous!! I am going to be meeting Paulette at a retreat next month and I am really looking forward to it. I don't have any of her charts yet, but there are several, including this one that will be coming home with me.
