Some Stitching and a Lot of Puppy Business.
I have managed to get some stitching in while Stella is sleeping or being crated. More on her later, but first up is Summer by BBD.
I really love this design and will be doing Autumn soon. After Summer, I moved on to February Word play by WTN. Love these designs! This is one of my favorite designs so far in this series. This on is done on 36ct LSL in a pale pink color called Chantilly Cream. I so enjoy doing designs on pink fabric.
I started Elizabeth Hancock by LHN. I am using 36 ct. v Examplar linen and over dyed floss. This is a very large design and will take some time to finish it. I usually work on only one design at a time but I will be doing other smaller designs while working on this one. Not a lot to show for many hours of work.
When you have had a dog for 18 years, you tend to forget things. Like how active they are, how house training is a big pain, how sharp puppy teeth are. Then you remember how much fun it is to play with them, how great puppy kisses are, how they love to go for walks, how cute they are when they seem to learn something new and that they do nap frequently! Stella and I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful comments. She is a wonderful addition to our household and she has made me realize I need more sleep! Until next time......Happy Stitching! Hopefully. Deborah

Looks like all that stitching you have been doing has worn Stella out! lol She is so cute! I love the stitching!!
Great new starts. Your finish is gorgeous.
Great stitching, those word play designs are lovely.
Stella is adorable
Oh I love your samplers. So beautiful. Stella is cute. Love your photos:)
Lovely new starts - lovely photos xx
I really like the Word Play series - I am way behind with them though - I've only stitched December! I must sympathise with your puppy comments. We have a new Irish Setter pup, Bronte, who is wonderful - especially when asleep! Our older dog is nearly 9 and she can't believe this whirlwind either! Irene xxx
very lovely finish..beautiful new start..
hugs cucki xx
My kids would love another dog--in addition to The Fluffinator--but I keep reminding them that puppies are like little babies! Stella is such a cutie.
Love your Word Play & LF!
Beautiful stitching and what a sweet photo of Stella
Lovely finishes and you've made a great start on Elizabeth. Your new little doggie Stella is so cute, it's easy to forget though just how much work they are when their little, just like having a new baby.
everything looks great, but I especially love the word play....I have purchased all of them so far, except that one! And I haven't started any......must change that!
It is quite an adjustment when you get a young pet. I think you do forget all the growing up issues. But then there are always puppy kisses to make you forget those issues.
BBD looks wonderful and the Word Play is sweet too. Your Elizabeth start looks wonderful too.
Have a great week!
Stella is so adorable! All the work is worth it in the end. Your stitching looks so great!
Oh I love the BBD and LHN pieces. Very nice!
Stella is so sweet.
Yes those puppy teeth are sharp! OUCH!!
Hope she lets you rest up soon.
Your stitching is coming along fabulously! And what a sweet photo of your puppy. I know she's keeping you busy in such a happy way.
Beautiful work as always, Deborah. I adore the Feb. Word Play on the pink fabric!! Glad Stella is bringing so much joy into your life--I know it's a huge adjustment :)
Your stitching is beautiful. I especially like the Blackbird Designs piece. There is something so beautiful about birds and stitching! Your puppy is very sweet!
Great finishes. I love the word plays for each month, they are really very creative. And you can also play with the fabric colours.
Very nice start on E.H.
Love all of your project choices! I have finally decided to start those wordplay patterns....I couldn't resist any longer.
Aawww...cute puppy pic ~and ouch on the puppy teeth!
She's adorable - thankfully she sleeps so you can stitch! And by the looks of it - she sleeps a lot!
Stella is just too cute. We've been discussing a puppy, but I'm not sure it will get past discussing. Beautiful stitching. I haven't tried any of the word plays yet, but I am getting closer and closer to purchasing one.
Can't believe you finished a summer piece. Febuary word play is my favorite.
All babies are so cute when they are sleeping. Glad you are enjoying Stella.

As always your stitching is wonderful! Elizabeth is a lot of work isn't she? But I think it will be so worth it in the end:)
Stella looks so sweet all curled up on your blankets. There is nothing like a sweet puppy:))!
Congrats on more beautiful finishes Deborah :o)
Stella is just so adorable! Just makes me want to give her loads of kisses ;o)
Just as well they grow up quicker than children and all the work will be worth it hundreds of times over.
Elizabeth is looking good.
Beautiful stitching!
What a sweet, sweet little puppy! :)
I love your Summer LF and your February Word Play finishes.
Nice start on Elizabeth.
Aww what a precious photo of Stella:)
Stella is beautiful! Congrats on the addition to your family. It looks like she has settled in!
My BBD Summer, Autumn, Winter is all kitted up as of yesterday and I'm ready to stitch it...although it's not on my WIP list! I have others to finish. Love reading your blog. Give Stella a friendly pat on the little head for me!
Your wordplay is fabulous, I too love to stitch on pink.
Summer looks great. I just now ordered mine and received them the other day.
Stella is so adorable. We had a dog for 18 years too. It's been about 6 yrs though and I am now ready to get another one.
Happy Stitching!
Your stitched pieces look great. Little Stella is adorable. Another thing I don't miss about puppyhood is the teething/chewing... I always told my two pups... it's just darn lucky you're both so cute or they would have been shown the door for their destructive chewing.
ooooo wonderful stitching as always ..love those word plays tooo and Elizabeth H is on my list of to gets and I can totally sympathise with you on the puppy training we got an 11 week old cocker spaniel Bentley ;) love mouse xxxx
Looks like you have a bunch of lovely WIPs going!!!! Stella is tooooo cute!!!!! Please give her a big hug for me~
Love your BBD and Word play. Stella is so cute!!
We have never had a dog, only cats but I got a taste of it when I visited my Mom over the holidays. They have a new Maltese puppy and boy, are they active! I don't know how you've managed to get as much stitched as you have. I'd be worn out!
I love both of your finishes. I plan on doing the BBD series and have just finished purchasing the charts.
Beautiful new start too! I'm looking forward to watching this one progress.
You and I have similar tastes; I'm working on BBD too - Summer is done and Autumn is started. I love their designs. I've also got Elizabeth Hancock kitted up and ready to go. You are off to a great start.
Stella is precious! It's worth the all the work for her unconditional love!
Love your progress on the LF and your Word Play is so cute. What a nice new start in Elizabeth. Stella is just a sweetheart.
Love all your stitching.
Congrats on finishing your February Word Play. Looks lovely.
And Elizabeth will be another beauty.
Ahhh...the puppy looks like a little angel. Until she wakes up of course...lol.
Stella is so sweet but you are right about puppies taking alot of time! Of course those puppy kisses are so worth it!
Lovely stitching!
Stella is adorable!
I'm really into the WMN Word Play series too, but I really popped over to see how Stella was doing - we have new puppies in common too. It will be fun to watch how they grow up. Irene xxx
Aww Stella is lovely.
Great stitching too.
Love the word play pattern. I think those are on my list.
Aww..puppy again. I just love her!
I just love to see your stitching progress. The Feb. Word Play is beautiful. Stella looks so sweet in her napping photo.
