Where Does The Time Go?

It's been over a week since I posted and really, I don't know where the time has gone. I have done some stitching. With Stella, it is getting hard to find the time without puppy interference.
I finished March Word Play. It was done on 36 ct v. butter cream fabric using the suggested GA floss. Then I finished the loose feathers designs Autumn, Summer and Winter. I really love this piece and was glad to get back to it. It will go to the framer on Wednesday.
Next up is a SB design called Irish Heart. Not a lot of work. I did it this afternoon watching a marathon of Joan and Melissa. Mindless TV. Perfect for stitching. I must say though it was funny.
Cheryl and I are going to have a finishing day this coming week. The SB piece will turn into a pillow. We have been hitting the antique places and have picked up some frogs and other cool stuff.
I just love these giant bobbins. I am going to wrap them with some of my lace trims.
I got a few different frogs. I just love this one. Very different.
The one on the right is very cool. It has a silver top with may holes. It polished up beautifully.
Cheryl found the blue frog for me when she was in Canada about 18 months ago. I had nothing to put it in until I found this lovely blue bowl. The frog fit perfectly. This is one of my favs.
We found this at a country store and I just had to have it. It is reproduction of an old sewing case. I am trying to get my stitching room more organized (much like the rest of you) and this case helped me a great deal. Thanks for taking the time to read and leave comments on my blog. I love the comments, they mean a lot to me. I have had some questions about Stella. She is doing well at school and getting big. She has a new boyfriend at school. Harvey is a boxer and is quite smitten with Stella. I will show pictures of her on my next post. Have a great week. Until next time.....Happy Stitching! Deborah

LOVE the Loose Feathers finish - can't wait to see it framed. The antique repro thread cabinet is just wonderful - I am coveting yours and really want one myself one day. Those wordplay pieces are so cute - I started stitching the first one and ordered the 2nd one but that is about at far as I got. Enjoy your week! melody

You say time has gone by but what you do with your time is amazing! Another post of beautiful pieces all ready to be finished off to your heart's desire. What more could a girl want? Lol.

Love your frogs and bobbins. I have a bobbin wrapped with lace but also use my vintage bobbins from lacemaking for this. Have you ever seen those kind of bobbins? That sewing chest is amazing! What a great find and a thing of beauty.

I love your finishes Deborah. The BBD is gorgeous!!
Your antique finds are amazing. I found a sewing case almost identical to that one this past summer on vacation. Unfortunately it wasn't for sale but just to attract people into the shop.

I love your March wordplay, and am waiting for my LNS to tell me it is in so that I can start stitching it.

BBD 'Summer, Autumn & Winter' is beautiful too...love that design!
What terrific frogs and antique bobbins you have found, but the antique sewing chest is a real treasure! As always, it is such a pleasure to read this special post.

Joy in stitching, coupled with raising a very special little Stella, must fill your days with such happiness and fullfillment.
