Welcome to Cranberry Samplings

My Favorite Time of the Year.

The weather is finally cooler. We are getting a lot of welcome rain. The leaves are turning beautiful colors. The mums and pumpkins are out front. It's my favorite time of the year. Because of the rain, I have managed to stitch a lot.
This is Be Ye Thankful by the Cross Eyed Cricket. The design is old ---- 1997. I have had it all these years and this was year to do it. It is at the framer getting a black frame.
I started Winter Plaid House by LHN. I am doing it on natural linen using some of the called for fibers. I changed the red and the green for what I think are more winter appropriate. Cheryl and I have been thrifting during the summer. I picked up this beauty for under 10.00.
It is hand painted from Portugal. I just love it. When Cheryl was in Canada she picked up this little beauty for me.
I didn't have a red frog. This a set. The very tiny frog sits on a little shelf. The whole frog is about 4 1/2 inches tall. I love the tulip shape. She is the greatest friend!
Just a little look into my kitchen for Halloween. I will end with a picture of my sweet Stella.
Until next time ...... Happy Stitching! Deborah

I stitched that Be Ye Thankful chart many years ago, and made a fabric frame around it. About 7 or 8 years later, I grew tired of it like that and made a 'cube' finish (for lack of what to call it) with it, which I like much better. I will be putting a picture of it on my blog soon--then you will know what I mean! Like that LHN piece and your header piece Halloweenies is too cute! Hugs!

Love that CEC piece -- so cute! And the Plaid House -- what fun! I don't remember this one. Love all your fall decorating. And the two frogs -- wow! That one from Portugal is amazing. And the red tulip shaped one is beautiful too! Stella looks so alert and happy!

It's fun to find an older design in your stash and finally bring it to light. Beautiful stitching. And the LHN piece is going to be lovely too.

Love the decorations so artfully placed in your home.

And a great haul of new frogs too!

What a wonderful display of your fall and Halloween pieces. The CEC piece looks gorgeous and I'm looking forward to seeing it in the frame. I also have several rather CEC charts that I still love and that just wait for being pulled out and stitched. Maybe for next year's Crazy Challenge ...
