Plaid House!

Thanks for visiting my little part of the world. The comments you leave mean the so much to me. It was a busy week here in Southern MA. I finished Plaid House by LHN. I used the natural linen called for and I must say I don't really care it. The piece looks good but the fabric wasn't fun to work with.
I started Christmastide at Holly House by The Scarlet House.
Please excuse the lousy picture. I don't iron while stitching. This piece is beautiful but will take awhile to finish. The house is massive. I picked up 2 pieces from the framer.
Ye Be Thankful by Cross Eyed Cricket. I used a plain black molding.
I did this piece last year. It's from Just Cross Magazine. I know that Paulette from PSS designed it. I just love the whimsy of it. Thought I would show somee Halloween finishes from years past. They are all hanging currently.
A close up of the molding I picked. I thought that I
Thanks for hanging in with this picture heavy post. Until next time ...... Happy Stitching! Deborah

Love 'em all. The plaid house fabric looks like a good choice.. too bad it was a pain to work with. Paulette's piece looks wonderful. I look at that pattern every now and then and think about stitching it. Maybe time for another look now,

I love plaid house, and am disappointed to hear the fabric was "Thumbs Down". Do you know who makes it?

Wonderful finish, start and framing! That is too bad that the fabric was nasty. I think I've worked with something similar to that and it wasn't fun to stitch at all. Glad you didn't give up because the piece looks great.

All of your projects are so pretty. I was thinking of doing Be Ye Thankful. Seeing how pretty yours turned out just might get me busy on that one. Love all the Halloween stitches!

Love your Plaid House finish! Too bad the material was hard to work with but the end result is fabulous.

It's so much fun to come to your blog and see all your fantastic framing and finishing. Thanks so much for the great inspiration:)))

Oh the plain linen may have been boring, but it sets off the piece perfectly! Really enjoyed looking at everything - the PSS Christmas piece is most lovely!

Oh my goodness we have the same stitching taste, but you are way faster than me! I have most of those patterns kitted up, and seeing yours just makes me want to hole up in my sewing room and not come out until they are done.
I love your new framed pieces. Isn't that PS sampler darling? I love the frame you chose.
I saw Christmastide at Holly House, and knew that would be in my stash soon. I can see that the house is going to take some time. Goodness, it's cute though. I love the plaid house finish too. Great job! Everything is very inspiring.

Great finishes and great framing. The PSS is one of my Crazy projects of this year but I doubt that I'll be able to finish it this year. I particularly love your Jenny Bean Halloween piece. This one will go on my wish list.
