A Little Stitching

I have received a couple of questions regarding my pop then in and out frames. I picked out a frame which I thought would work with all the LHN monthly designs and then the framer makes a frame. The picture below is the back. I just have to move the little hinges and the back comes off and I can put in all the different months. You have to keep a measurement of the inside of the frame so when you stretch the design so that it always fits. I have 3 of these kinds of frames. This one, one for the BBD anniversary designs and the monthly designs by PS. I love them and it certainly saves alot of framing money.
I finished the last of the LHN monthly designs. I love the red house.
This cute couple is almost finished. I think they will look lovely as a pillow.

I want to thank everyone who left me a comment or an email after my accident. Both Cheryl and I were overwhelmed and grateful for all the support that you gave us. Cheryl has a mild whiplash. Her doctor gave her exercises to do and some pain pills. She's feeling much better. I look like a giraffe with all the really large bruises. I have some aches but they are relieved with Bengay. Funny thing is Cheryl doesn't have even one bruise. We still feel very fortunate to have walked away with almost problems. Sammi is doing fine.as well. I thought that she might afraid to go in a car again but she was in the car the next day. What a dog! My car was totalled and I will be receiving the settlement check very soon. So now, I will be looking for a new car. Hope to have one by the end of the week end.
Until next time Happy Stitching

Sooo glad you're "only" bruised. That was a nasty wreck, so I'm sure you feel blessed, even through the aches.

Love the frame. It does save a lot on framing cost and best of all, you can change the designs whenever. Your WiPs look great as well.

I have a few designs that I want to stitch and not frame all of them as they're seasonal designs. Thanks for showing a pic of the back of the frame!

Your stitching looks great. I hope the bruises heal quickly!

I love all your stitching! Interesting about the frames too. Hope you and Cheryl are feeling better soon -- I'm so glad the injuries were no worse! That's cute about Sammi too -- dogs always love cars, don't they? lol! Good luck finding a new car. We had to rush to buy a new car after my husband's car got totally early this year. If you're going for a new car as opposed to used, check out deal making online -- it really works well!

Great framing idea. Sometimes I use ones made for photos that work the same way.

So I guess the really good news is that you get to buy a new car! Gotta look at the bright side, you know.

Hope you and Cheryl recover quickly.

The frame is darling and a great idea, I used to do it for a series of Lizzie Kate's that I had stitched. :)
And your Quaker Turkeys are DARLING!!

Very good framing idea...saves on space too, not having to store lots of framed pieces when they aren't on display!

I love popping different series in and out of a frame! So much easier than trying to decide how to finish each one. Love your Thanksgiving turkeys.

I'm so glad you are all recovering well, and what a good idea for the frame!!! Thank you!!! How do you store the ones that aren't in the frame right then?

I like the idea of one frame, especially for monthly or seasonal designs that are all the same size. Congrats on finishing December! Must feel good to have all 12 months done now :o)

The Quaker Turkeys are so cute.

I love your Quaker Turkeys!! I looked at this design when it was first released and considered buying it but didn't. Now I wish that I had!
Thanks for sharing the pics of your frame. I think it's a great idea! Now I just have to learn how to stretch my own pieces.

Glad you're both doing okay. Hope the bruises fade soon. Great LHN finish, well done on getting all 12 stitched. I love doing 'series' but usually fall by the wayside half way through.

I have a silly question but what are LHN monthly stitchings? I love them so is there a way to 'subscribe' to get them my self?
