What a long week!

This has been the longest week and I have missed blogging and reading all of your blogs. I have had the cold. This wasn't just any cold, it was a put you on your butt cold. The first few days I could do nothing that didn't include tissues and medication. Then it moved into my chest where it has been ragging war for about 5 days. Less tissues but now we have added cough drops and different kinds of medication. I had a flu shot 2 days before I got the cold and my friend, Nataly feels that it was the flu from the shot. I don't know. I am just glad that it is almost gone. I left the house for the first time yesterday to join the rest of the world. It was lovely. I spent the day with my sewing machine and Cheryl. The first picture is of the October LHN design in my pop in and out frame. The second picture is an Erica Michael's design from few years ago. We made it into pillow.

This is a Friend of Jenny Bean by Chessie and Me. I loved doing the design and I think the pillow turned out great.

This a pillow we made using the PSS design Gobble. We took some to figure out what to do with this one. I think it turned out pretty good. I love the colors.

This is another PSS design named Dust of Snow. I used 32 ct. Putty fabric and the called for NPS fibers. I had more fun stitching this design. The trees are really gorgeous and fun to do. I dropped it off at the framers today. I will show it again next week. It was hard picking out a frame because of the color of the fabric I used. Will see how it turns out.

I finished this one last night. It is a BBD design. I used 28 ct. ant. ivory and a skein of silk-n-colors called Woods of Gold. I am going to make another small pillow tomorrow.

Thanks for visiting and know that I will be catching up on all of your blogs. Thanks for all the comments. They mean alot to me. Til next time Happy Stitching!

So sorry to read that you have been so ill...not fun, and the worst part is, you don't feel like doing anything, when you are that under the weather. Hope the cure is going on in your body, and you can enjoy the rest of the month.

You certainly have some more then lovely finishes, I am envious of them, they are gorgeous!!

My Dr. swore to me that it wasn't possible to get sick off the flu vaccine he offered to me for free last month but I didn't believe him so I didn't get it. lol
DODGED THAT BULLET.

Gorgeous fall pieces. You have done some beautiful work.

The experts always say the flu shot can't give you the flu, but I always seem to catch a cold within a week of getting the shot every year. Sounds like the worst is over for you and I hope you recover completely soon.

Glad to hear you are starting to feel better! My husband had something similar.

Love all your stitches!!

Glad you are getting some better. I agree with your friend. As soon as you started describing your symptoms I thought 'flu' then you said the shot and it clicked. I know many people who get flu symptoms after their shot, though less severe and shorter duration. I know the docs say 'not possible' but each body is different.

Nice stitching though. Feel all better soon!

Sorry to hear you have been sick. I have my own doubts about getting the flu shot for just that reason! But--it does pass, and it sounds like you are back on the mend. Your stitching is terrific, and the finishes --wow! you have been busy! They are all lovely! Hugs.

That definitely sounds like it was worse than a cold! Ugh! Glad you're feeling better -- hope you're back to normal soon! Love all the stitching! I just kitted up that Scarlet's Christmas one (Jenny Bean's Friend) and I'm glad I saw how you finished yours. Lovely stitching and finishing all!

I'm glad you're feeling better Deborah.
Your recent finishes are beautiful! Sometimes my plans for finishing change when I see the completed piece. You can't ever miss with a pillow..

I'm a big fan of Erica Michaels, especially her 40 ct series...as long as my eyes hold up!

Hope the worst of the cold is behind you...

Such wonderful finishes Deborah. There are a few of these patterns that I'm going to check out right away. It is always so nice to see what others are stitching.

Sorry you haven't been well and hope you will feel completely better soon.

I've heard that this "cold" that is going around is really more like the flu--hope you're feeling 100% very soon.

I love your finishes, Deborah--especially Gobble. I actually went and purchased that chart after seeing your finish earlier!!
