The End Of A Good Year!

During the holiday's I was able to get some stitching in. I finished Snow Garden. I am still not happy with it, but it being stretched and mounted. February by PS is also being stretched and mounted. I will show them next week, in their pop in and out frames. I started Daffodils by PS on 32 ct. lambswool with the recommended DMC. I hope that this will be my last finish for 2010. Time will tell.
We had a wonderful Christmas here in MA. Great time with friends, good food and wonderful gifts! Sammi received this soft warm blanket. The little dogs on it look like her, don't you think?

This is a gift I received from Cheryl. The picture does it no justice. I put in the window and the sun makes it sparkle with color. The leaves and berries are all glittered. I love this thing. All the pictures are clickable.
We have had alot of snow here and no one was able to go to work on Monday. Many people were without power (not us, thank heaven). Some of the towns on the ocean had terrible flooding and folks are still not able to go back in their homes. Thankfully, all my friends fared pretty well during the blizzard. I know that I really wanted snow but I have had it and am now done with it!
Many of you are doing the 15 start challenge, not me. I am one of those people that has to do one project at a time. If I put something down, I generally don't ever pick it up again. I do have 3 WIP's that I will try to finish in 2011. I am also going to try to work on projects from my stash. I have so many beautiful charts that have been neglected. Time will tell how well I stick to that. I probably won't be able to post before New Years, so I want to wish every one a safe and happy New Year. Until next time...Happy Stitching! Deborah

The little hanging flower ball is beautiful. I clicked --- love it and can imagine the sparkly colors are so pretty.

I love the daffodils on your new stitched piece. It makes me think that spring won't be too far away. I'm so tired of being cold all the time.

Hope you have a wonderful New Year! Glad you made it safely through the blizzard. The ornament is gorgeous, especially once I enlarged it so I could see the sparkle.

Sammi is so adorable. That picture makes me want to pick her up, blanket and all and give her a huge hug :) Great progress on Daffodils. Glad to hear everything is well with you. Take care!

I love the crystal on the ball ! Daffodil looks great !! I am about to start Snow Garden. I am doing mine on Dirty Linen. I am going to have to change some of the colors. Like you, I think they blend into the color of linen. I am going to do mine as one big piece with my dates and people's names. Can't wait to see yours in it's frame!!

Great, you are stitching a new PS month. I saw that you finished February, it looks so great. And March is my favourite in this series so far. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

PS March is looking good. I can't believe you have only 3 WIP's??? That is admirable! Have a very Happy New Year!

Love your new PS start! Looking forward to seeing your recent finishes framed. What a lovely gift. It's beautiful. Like you, I'm a one project at a time person. My comfort zone is one large and one small project on the go. Anything above that and I feel like I would be going in circles! I am looking forward to seeing everyone's progress though on this Crazy Challenge. Happy New Year!

Your gift is so beautiful! Lucky you.

Sammie seems as snug as a bug...I would be tempted to crawl in there with her!

We are two stitchers alike when it comes to WIPS. Usually when I start something it must be the only thing I work on until it is finished....unless I'm working on a HUGE project, then I need to pick up something to small so I can say that I have a finish.
I have to put my ABC Tapestry aside for a bit so I can stitch my grandson's sampler now.

Happy New Year!!

Your stitching is always beautiful and you get it done so fast! I'm with you...no crazy January starting 15 projects...that's crazy! I'm focusing on getting my UFO's done....I've got lots....

I love your finish! And Sammi is so cute with her new blanket! Nice present from Cheryl too. We got whacked by that blizzard. a foot and a half of snow, plus we lost power the next day for 7 or 8 hours! Brrrr! Hope you have a happy, healthy New Year!

Sammi is just adorable and is one cozy dog this winter. I love your March PS...you are such a fast stitcher. I just revealed one of my major projects for 2011. I am excited my Olga chart from you is part of it. Thanks again!

Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year. May it be filled with inspiration and happiness with needle and thread dear Deborah!

Deborah, you are such an amazingly fast stitcher, I am envious!! Beautiful to see though, so grateful that you do stitch fast and share with us! I pulled the colors for Snow Garden the other day and thought that they were so close in color, oh well, I am sure yours will be beautiful!

Lucky doggie, looks so warm and comfy! Happy New Year! Hope it is everything you desire!

I love your March start, Deborah, and can't wait to see Feb. all framed up. I am a one project at a time stitcher, too, and have no WIPS (except for a couple that need a few beads sewn on) so I'm just doing a stitching from stash year for 2011. I really don't know how people juggle so many projects at a time, do you?

Happy New Year to you and cutie-pie, Sammi!

Sammi is so cute!

I love your new start! I admire your ability to stick with one project through till it's finished. I have to have about two things to switch between because I get bored; I think it's because I tend to work on big (to me) projects. I love it when I find one project that I just can't bear to put down and see it through till its end.

Wishing you and yours a very happy & healthy new year!

I hope that you and your family have a very happy and prosperous New Year!

Love your new PS piece. The daffodils will be a reminder that Spring will be here before we know it.

Glad you fared well during the Blizzard and didn't loose power.

Happy New Year!

Can't wait to see those beauties :o)

Sammi is SO cute!!!! Love the blanket she got.

Gee, I didn't think you guys got a lot of snow and flooding down your way :o( We still have green grass here but in NB they got a lot of flooding/damage and they have snow as well. I'm glad you were spared.

Sammi looks so cosy in her new blanket and I'm glad to hear that the weather hasn't effected you too badly. I agree with you on the crazy challenge front, I'm definitely a one-project gal! Daffodils looks great and I can't wait to see what else you'll be stitching in 2011 :) Best wishes.
