A Few More Ornaments And Some Other Stuff...

Sammi gets very moody if I don't post a picture of her every so often, so I dug into the archives and found this one. She actually looks perky.
Picked up this little gem on Wednesday. This was great quick stitch. I like how it turned out. You can click on any of the pictures for a closer look.

Alittle close up.
Close up of the frame. I like the two toned brown. I have used this molding before.

I finished a couple more ornaments.

All of them are the monthly ornaments by LHN. Everything I am showing you today is LHN. I need to mix it up alittle, don't you think? I hope to find some time next week for the finishing of these ornaments. First, I need to go to Joann Fabrics for some trim. I know that All is Calm will be a little pillow and Peppermint Twist will be a pincushion. The rest will probably be regular ornies. I will show them after they are finished.

I finished this last month and popped it into my frame. Like Myra, I left a light on in a second floor window. I like to think that it is me up late reading my kindle, which I do frequently.
All of the monthly designs reside on this shelf in the kitchen. All of the designs go into this frame. I pop them in and out every month. I change up the other things that I put on the shelf for the holiday or season.

Thanks for stopping by my little piece of the world. I love the comments and will try to get better at answering some of the questions. I appreciate them all.

I would like to wish two wonderful women from my Wednesday stitching group, Nataly and Ellen a Happy Hanukkah! Until next time...Happy Stitching. Deborah

Congrats on a lovely finish! The frame that you chose is the perfect showcase for it! I just have to ask what fabric you used for the December piece...it looks slightly lavender and if it is, I must say, I love the color combination.

Looking forward to seeing your finishes on the little ornaments.

Deborah your framed piece is lovely. I really like the motif near the top with the cardinals, wouldn't that be pretty by itself as a pin pillow? (I am so partial to cardinals. ) Love the ornaments too and your December sampler. We DO think alike as I am popping my samplers in and out of the same two frames. Love the touch of "leaving the light on". ;O)

Hi Sammi, I bet you are proud of your Mum for all the stitching she has finished this year. Winter is no exception and it looks lovely. I love your idea of changing your stitching to the seasons. That wouldn't work here as we can often get all of the seasons in one day.

I love LHN so you don't need to change it up as far as I'm concerned! Your ornaments are so cute. They tempt me to get mine finished when I need to work on gifts!

I love the frame that you chose for the Winter Band Sampler! Great idea for the LHN months within the frame and I just might have to "hijack" the idea of leaving a light on too :)

I love the idea of your seasonal shelf that you can change to fit the season. I might adapt the idea to fit myself if you don't mind. All of your stitching looks great and I can't wait to see your "finished" pieces. Happy stitching to you.

I love you Winter sampler and enjoyed the pictures of your LHN ornaments. What a great idea to use the frame and interchange them each month...must "steal" that idea. :)

I like your cute little elf (he's kinda retro) and tree. I sure do miss your Willirayes. Are you going to be putting them out soon? If I remember correctly, didn't you have some Winter cuties? You inspired me to buy some.
