I am crazy for this box. It's a very good buy. I will do other designs just so I can continue to have the box displayed. I may have to get the black one, as well.
I picked up this piece last week from the framer. I really love how it turned out. Below is a close up of the frame. It looks old and beat up, which I think works for the sea aspect of the design. The color of the frame matches the floss perfectly.
A month or so ago, Cheryl and I went looking for flower frogs. We were very successful. The picture doesn't show the true color of the glass, which is pink. I was so happy to find to find a pink bottom. I got more of them, which I will show later.
I have 400 followers!! WOW I am thankful for all of you. I am going to have a giveaway. Stay tuned for my next post. I hope that you will like what I have planned. Until next time...Happy Stitching! Deborah

I love the Shepherds Bush box, so pretty! The colours are perfectly soft and sweet.
I love your finishes. The Shepherds Bush one especially is so sweet. Your flower frog is so pretty! I've been collecting scissors lately and been looking for one but unfortunately I have yet to lay eyes on one here in Malaysia.
Both of your finishes are gorgeous. The frame does match perfectly. Lovely new scissor frog.
Where did you find that box? Perfect for your little lamb. I've admired Down to the Sea for quiet awhile. And your frame is gorgeous! Love that I can tell what 'my' initials will look like on it! Have to ask - is your middle initial R? And I've seen that color of glass at my Mom's - great you could find a bottom for your frog.
Two beautiful finishes. I love the box.
That is one of the prettiest scissor frogs I've seen.
