Betsy and More!

I put this little box together last week. I used charcoal chenille trim around the design. The little pin cushion goes on the inside. Click on any of the pictures for a better view. I must start taking my pics outside, so they won't be dark.

Betsy!! What can I say about her except I loved every stitch. The fabric is a soft gold color (not that you could tell from the picture). The floss is DMC. Below is a close up of Betsy. So cute. Don't you just love the black sheep?

This is come home by SB. I love these boxes. I took the glass out for the picture.

This is my latest start. Le Jardin de Lapin by Praiseworthy Stitches. The fabric is 32 ct. Chantilly Creme by LSL. A lovely soft pink. Using CC, GA and wks fibers. I was drawn to all pinks in the design. It's working up quickly.

Haven't had a picture of Sammi lately. Today is the first day in almost 2 weeks that it didn't rain and the temps were in the 70's. She's doing what she enjoys. Watching the street and barking at everything.

I need to thank everyone for the wonderful comments and emails. I did notice that a bunch of your comments from my last post just disappeared. Very strange. Until next time...Happy Stitching! Deborah

Wow, you have a lot of progress to show. Your needles must be smoking hot!! Grats on the finishes, and the progress. As for Sammi, at least she's not out playing in the mud!!!

Beautiful finishes! Nice new start too. You probably lost a bunch of comments during the blogger fiasco. Some posts disappeared for a while too.

Superb finishes and lovely start.
It looks like your Sammi has the same past time of my Georgina: resting in front of the window watching the world go by.

The box is wonderful! Was it very fiddly to finish? Betsy is a great piece too - I love that she has a needle in thread in her hand!

I know you enjoyed stitching Betsy. I still haven't found my stitched piece so I guess that means I need to stitch it again. Can't wait to see your Praiseworthy piece finished. I know it will be beautiful!
