Where Does The Week Go?

First, I what to thank everyone for the great comments on my last post. I would, also, like to welcome my new followers. This week has just flown by. I have done some stitching and a lot of gardening.
I finished this piece last week and forgot to post it. It is the Summer Band sampler by LHN. It will stretched and put in my in and out frame.I finished the June Word Play this week and it will be done as a door hanger.
I did this piece last year and just had it framed. Really, the pictures do it no justice. The design is by PSS done on 32 ct. days gone by linen using the suggested silks.
Here is a close up of the frame. I will keep this one up all the time. I just love it so.
I picked this piece up today and I love it! It is already hanging in the craft room.
I started this last night while watching Dancing with the Stars and I learned that I really must pay attention to the stitching. So, I started again today. The piece is Dogwood Lace by Rosewood Manor. I am doing it on 36 ct. strawflower LSL. A beautiful pink fabric. The floss is baked apple by WDW. This piece will take awhile to do. I now know that I can't do this piece at my stitching groups, so I will be doing small quick pieces during group times.
I picked up this piece at Celebrations from the Inspired Needle's booth. This will be my first group piece. I got some emails and comments about the Inspired Needle. I tried to answer them but some of the emails came back so... let me tell how much I enjoyed visiting the Inspired Needle's Booth. Cathy had everything that a store would have. I don't think that she left much behind in her store. I went back 4 times and think I bought stuff each time. I am glad that she will be coming back next year.
I will close with a picture of some of my bearded iris. They are so pretty. Have a great holiday week-end! Until next time ..... Happy Stitching! Deborah

Deborah, I love your Summer band sampler! This is a good series. I have to purchase the summer one yet. It is the only chart I don't have. I have only stitched the Winter one tho. I am trying to abstain from stitching many other things while forging ahead on stitching shores of hawks run hollow.

The Inspired Needle is a very nice shop. I've been to her Lemont store once, and would like to go again. It is about 3 hrs. away from where I live.

Oh Deborah! All your samplers are beautiful. I love the frames you've chosen. I can relate to you when you said that for one pattern you would not be stitching when you get together with others. Some designs do require our full attention lol. Yes I've been there and done that. Irises are spectacular.

Congratulations on your beautiful finishes!

Some projects really require some focus or take me a while to get to a flow going. It looks like Dogwood Lace is coming along. Love the fabric and thread you've selected.

Deb, loved the iris pictures. The yellow is just what I wanted. You need to correct the fabric for the Rosewood Manor piece so Vickee doesn't buy the wrong fabric.
