2 Finishes, WIP and a Bath

Today at my Wednesday stitching group, I finished the two latest LHN monthly designs. They will be ironed and stretched and then I will pop them in and out of the frame I am using.
I really love October. I changed the orange to a much darker color (colonial copper ) more pumpkin like.

I've gone back to October by PS. Made alittle progress in the yard. I see by the picture that I didn't finish stitching the word pleasant. I must remember to do that.

Over the weekend, Sammi got a bath. As you can see, she wasn't happy. Used a lovely citrus smelling shampoo. She didn't like it. I did.

She prefers to dry herself. She is very independent. That big blob of stuff on the side of the tub is her hair. She is a shedder.

Is this not the cutest 16 year old you've ever seen? She was just glad that it was over.

Thank you every one for your lovely comments. They mean alot. Enjoy the next few days and happy stitching.

Deborah, how the heck do you stitch so fast?! Your finishes are great. I had a beautiful Keeshond who had lovely fluffy silver hair. When she was wet she shrank about 3 sizes and looked like a drowned rat. I once had a guest who commented that she must not shed much. I just laughed, knowing that I had the vacuum out for the 2nd time that day, about 10 minutes before my guest arrived!

Beautiful stitching. Makes me really think of fall and I hate to see the summer go!

Sammi is just too cute!

(The 'funny writing word' was 'pordog' ;-)

Wow, you are a very fast stitcher, Deborah! I love both of your LHNs. Don't you love those monthly pieces that can be popped in and out of the same frame--they sure save a lot of money.

Wish all 16 year-olds were as cute as Sammi :)

I love your finishes. You do marvelous work- as always!
Sammi IS the cutest 16 year old ever, plus has the added bonus of not being able to talk back in a snippy tone of voice or ask to borrow the car!

Beautiful work! Your pup is adorable. I have two 'shedders' in my house that cause many doggie bunnies (I think they eat the dust bunnies) in my house!

Deborah, your stitching is beautiful. I am yearning for fall. Today in NC we have rain so I can kind of imagine it, since it is cooler.
Thanks for visiting my blog.

Deborah, I love the months that you are doing! I think many of us are getting the fall season stitching bug.

Sammi is a sweetie! I am going to have to put a pic of my new pup "Riley" up on my blog today.

Great stitching!

You're certainly a quick stitcher! I love these finishes. I don't know how I ever missed this monthly series when it was released but I have. Now that I see yours I'm thinking of taking a look at them more closely. They're really cute.
Sammi is adorable! That pic of her wrapped in the towel is priceless.

oh my goodness!!!!! This is my first time to your blog. Thanks for stopping by mine!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE all three of your stitching pieces shown on this post! I have the PS one, but now I must get ahold of the LHN ones. I do not have them, but yours are gorgeous!!
Love the dog pictures too! I don't dare bathe my 'old' dog. Everytime I do, he gets an ear infection...not good!!! Let the groomer do it!

Sammi...you are just such a sweetie! The things you dogs (and cats here in our house) must put up with. *sigh* But I bet you are just so sweet smelling now that everyone wants to give you a big ol' cuddle!

Beautiful! Love that copper choice for the pumpkins--that's the same colour I'm using for my PS When Witches Go Riding. :)

Sammi is a doll. :)
