I was going to start some Halloween ornies but....
I ran across this little beauty. It's an old BC kit that included 25 ct natural linen and an assortment of different floss. If I had done it over 2 it would have been about 4x4.5 ". I thought that was to big for my Halloween tree so I used the 25 ct fabric doing the design over 1. I like it alot. The little sheep is wearing a mask! Too cute. When I finish this one I will then move on to the Just Cross Stitch ornies.
My birthday week is officially over. I had a great week with my friends. Thursday, Cheryl and I went to Heritage Gardens in Sandwich, MA. It's a great place on many acres. The windmill is one of the gardens. We walked around this place for about 3 hours. It was fabulous. I took many more pictures but I am only going to post afew. ( as not to bore you )
This is the administration building. Lovely gardens all around the building. In the back is a wonderful herb garden. Below is one of the hundreds of hydrangea.
After we left the gardens, we needed lunch. Cheryl had never been to a tea house, so we went here.
This is room we ate in. They had afew differently decorated rooms. I liked this one because of the fact that it was open to the outside. Very pretty.
We went for the full afternoon tea. Sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and alot of little pastries. They also have a full lunch menu, which looked pretty good. It was a great day with my best friend. I also went out to dinner twice with other friends. It was a busy week.
Sammi and I want to thank everyone for their lovely comments. They are truly appreciated. Enjoy the next few days and as always Happy Stitching.

I love your new stitching the pumpkin on the sheep !! I like the pictures you took, beautiful !
What a wonderful way to spend your special day. Many Happy Returns to you. I love the idea of the pumpkin over one and look forward to seeing pics of your Halloween Tree. Actually, that's the day I put my Christmas tree up so the end of Oct is not really about Halloween, BUT having said that, after our visit to Salem Mass. in July, I may just reconsider my views for Oct 31.
Be always in stitches.
Great PS finish! I also like your new start.

congrats on the finish! Gorgeous!! Makes me want to pull out some autumn designs & get busy. But, alas, must finish some WIP's first!!!
Happy belated birthday. I think the Heritage Gardens place would be a wonderful place to visit. Love the pictures you showed!
What a very pretty finish! Congratulations and all ready for the upcoming season!
Your sweet little boo sheep is adorable too!
Nice finish!! I love the yard filled with the pumpkins and turkeys.....Looks good!! Faye
Beautiful finish. And that BC piece is just too cute. I've started a bit of Halloween stitching myself. But it makes me sad because it means summer is fading away.
Looks like a great way to spend a birthday!
I love that little Boo Sheep! The mask is just priceless. Your PS finish looks great too. I can't believe how quickly you stitched that one up!
Your birthday week sounds lovely. I went for my first tea this summer and it was so much fun. I'm glad you had such a great time with friends.
Hehe, what a cute halloween design. The sheep is so cute!
I am glad to hear you had a lovely birthday. Afternoon tea looks divine. :-)
What a lovely birthday week you had, Deborah. And the visit to Heritage Gardens looks very special... Nice to have such good friends to celebrate with :)
Seeing your cute PS and Halloween finishes is really putting me in a fall stitching mood. I'll have to go through my stash and see what calls my name...
Enjoy your week :)
Deb, Love your Prairie Schooler finish. The Bent creek Boo sheep is adorable. I can't wait to see the over one stitching. It's just makes things too cute don't you think. I am so glad you got Cheryl to the tea house. I am going to look into heading down there. I have never been to a traditional afternoon tea. Looks scrumptious.
A very Happy Belated Birthday, Deborah! What a cute Halloween ornament you made. I love the PS designs.
Pretty finish and I love all the pictures of your day out :-).
I don't know how your PS could be any better in person. It looks great! That BC is as cute as it can be and I love the size. It looks like your birthday week was fabulous. The day trip with your friend sounds fun and tasty!
What a wonderful finish! Your BC piece is so cute!
Happy Belated Birthday!
Great finish! That sheep sure is cute (and I'm not a crazy sheep lady!).
Sounds like you had a great Birthday Week!!!
I love your autumn finishes...I think you have chosen some wonderful patterns. I love the one by Prairie Schooler!!! Wish I had some done...I will keep working on it!!! Dianntha
HD! Congratulations Deborah! Your PS looks beautiful :o)
How adorable! He is very tiny. LOL! LOVE those scissors :o)
Great pictures. That sure looks like a wonderful place to visit. I know I'd be taking lots of pictures ;o) That tea room looks like it had some delicious treats! Yum!
Unless your tree is tiny, I don't think that piece is too large to turn into an ornament. I just love it and love your PS piece too. Oh the temptation! But I am not buying any more charts until I get my UFOs under control.
The place you visited with your friends is so beautiful. Having a High Tea is so much fun too. I don't even celebrate a birthDAY let alone a week. What fun you seemed to have had! Happy belated birthday!
Hugs from Holland ~
