October and Lobsters

Did alot of stuff this past weekend. Nothing all that fun. Yard work, cleaning and the laundry. I did start October by PS. I love PS designs and plan on doing all her monthly designs.
I am using 32 ct. lambswool Jobelan and DMC fibers. It's working up quickly.
I live in a very small town near the ocean in MA. We don't have great outdoor markets for veggies and flowers. They are around but you must really travel to find them . What we do have are great fish markets where the seafood couldn't be fresher. I don't get lobster very often but the price was good this past weekend so Joanne and I enjoyed a wonderful feast.

YUMMY!!

I would like to mention another great frog giveaway. Jennifer over on Confessions of a Serial Starter has a wonderful frog she is giving away. Check it out!

Have a great few days and happy stitching.

Nice start and beautiful lobster. You are lucky to have the fresh fish so close. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I am always happy to help enable people to buy more stitchy stuff!! I had never heard of the site either. I believe it was Jane from Chilly Hollow that mentioned this sale. They sent the order right out and I received it from USPS on Saturday. Our mail people usually kind of skip Saturday so I was surprised to see it.

I don't know which I like better - the PS piece or the lobster! LOL Both are simply divine.

That lobster is making my mouth water! droooool... Your PS piece is lovely. And I love that needle minder- I collect them, and I don't have the blackbird yet. :)

I love your PS start!I'm a big fan of their designs. Your needles must be smoking, you've done quite a bit. Afraid I'm not as fond of the lobster though. Shellfish and I don't seem to agree.

We had a cooler start to Saturday and I worked in the yard about 3 hours. The days seem so busy and my stitching has taken a back seat. Your October is looking good. I'm not a seafood lover, but I'm glad you had a good lobster dinner.

Your PS stitching is beautiful! And the lobster dinner..so yummy looking! I have an aunt that used to live in a place called "Hull." I honestly don't think I've ever known anyone else who lives in Ma! :)

Littlebit, Hull is a small lovely town on the water. Closer to Boston than the Cape. I have friends who have a house overlooking the ocean.MA is a wonderful place to visit. You should come because now you kinda know me.

The last time my Rob and I were in NE, all we did was eat clam chowdah and lobster. Even sat and ate lobster for lunch at a couple of roadside stands with picnic tables. Truly, one of my favorite foods. Your lunch looks SO delicious!!!

The PS design is awesome too!
