One of my favorite places in Plymouth, MA is Cupcake Charlies. Earlier this week Michael participated in Cupcake Wars on the Food Network. Michael came in second because his display wasn't flashy enough. They loved his cupcakes, though. Three of his entries are in the pic. One is the chocolate cupcake with the caramel on the top. The second is the lemon cupcake with raspberry frosting, it also has raspberry in the middle. The third one is a little weird. Its a Cinnamon cupcake with pepper jelly in the middle. The frosting is made with goat cheese and pepper jelly and yes that is bacon sprinkled on the top. The judges gave this cupcake great reviews but I will admit that it scares the heck out of me!! what can I say, we must support our local merchants.
